go back
The mountains are calling, and I must go.

I’ve always loved hiking, mountains, and being in nature. Climbing felt like a natural next step. It lets me see the wild in a new way and brings a fresh sense of adventure. Every climb teaches me something different and pushes me to keep getting better.

Right now, I’m focused on learning and practicing the basics. I’m still doing hikes and natural walks as I work toward a big goal, reaching a summit someday. For now, each climb is just another step toward that dream.

It looks so easy when you see it, but you only truly understand when you try it. You'll realize your strengths and weaknesses

How its started

This idea had been on my mind for a while, and Agfar and Salman Faris encouraged me to take it further. In December, I was in Kochi for a MakerGram meetup. After the event, Salman Faris took me to the Chittilappilly Square Center, where there was a basic climbing activity. I attempted my first climb, but although I gave it my best, I couldn’t make it to the top. Salman, however, successfully reached the top.

This experience got me thinking, and I decided I’d pursue climbing more seriously when I got back to Bangalore. I promised myself I’d return here someday and make it to the top alongside Salman Faris.

I discovered Tenzee Multisports during a visit to Decathlon in Bangalore, and I joined their course with Agfar.

Slowly losing fear of heights

As I fell down repeatedly, I learned valuable lessons about my limits and how to push beyond them. With every successful climb, I felt a sense of Accomplishment, and now, I find myself managing my fear much better than before. The thrill of climbing has transformed my anxiety into excitement, and I can’t wait to see how far I can go!

Learned Belaying: It’s About Trust

A significant skill I’ve recently learned is belaying, Managing the rope while my partner ascends requires focus and responsibility, and knowing that they rely on me for their safety. This trust builds our teamwork and gives me confidence as a climber.

Grateful for Amazing Mentors and Trainers

I couldn’t have made it this far without my incredible mentor and trainer. Their guidance, support, and shared experiences have truly enriched my climbing journey!

Thanks to the amazing guide and belayer, Kethan

Thanks to Tenzee Multisports

Looking Ahead to the Future

As I continue to grow in my climbing, I’m excited about the challenges and adventures that lie ahead. I can't wait to explore new routes, conquer summits, and push my limits even further. The journey has just begun, and I’m eager to see where it will take me!
