I was feeling stuck, bored with the same routine, and wanted to try something new. While I was in Bangalore, the idea of designing and 3D printing something on my own got me excited. So, I started exploring 3D printing, learning how to design, and looking for a place to print my creation.
A quick search showed me many printing services nearby, Then, one day while I was on my way to the office in an Uber, I noticed a new shop I hadn’t seen before, it was a 3D printing shop, Protowing Seeing it caught my attention right away, so I decided to visit it after work.
That evening, I visited the shop and met the owner, Sayed Mahin. He and his wife ran the place, and Mahin wasn’t just a shop owner—he was also building and selling his own 3D printers! We had a great chat, and he shared his journey into the 3D printing business. I was inspired by the amazing machines he had created.
I began learning Autodesk Fusion and designed a logo for MakerGram, the community I was part of. When the design was ready, I headed back to Protowing. There, Mahin guided me through the printing process, helping me bring my design to life. It's my first 3D print!
